Connect Claude to PrompTessor MCP
Add PrompTessor as a custom connector in Claude or Claude Desktop and authorize it with OAuth.

Claude and Claude Desktop
Claude web, Claude Desktop, Cowork, and mobile use the same hosted remote connector. No API key or claude_desktop_config.json entry is needed; each user connects through PrompTessor OAuth.
Add the remote connector from Customize > Connectors using the values below.

Open Connectors
For an individual account, open Customize > Connectors. On Team or Enterprise, an Owner first opens Organization settings > Connectors.

Add a custom connector
Select the plus button, choose Add custom connector, enter PrompTessor as the name, and paste the Server URL shown below.

Confirm authentication and transport
Keep Always required for authentication, choose No client ID—register one automatically, and use Streamable HTTP. PrompTessor supports OAuth discovery and dynamic client registration, so you do not need to enter a client ID or secret.

Add the connector
Finish adding the connector. Claude opens the PrompTessor connector details page and shows that your account is not connected yet.

Review and allow access
Sign in to PrompTessor, review the requested permissions, and select Allow access to authorize Claude.

Enable it for the conversation
In a chat, select the plus button > Connectors and turn on PrompTessor. You can also adjust which connector tools Claude may use.

Verify the connection
Ask Claude to check your PrompTessor usage. A successful get_usage result confirms authentication and account access.
Team and Enterprise
Only an Owner or Primary Owner can add the connector to the organization. After it is added, members connect their own PrompTessor accounts unless the organization deliberately configures shared access.
